All students need to register for classes every semester. You are able to register three ways for course work

On-Line Returning students can register at http://dawgs.umwestern.edu using their student ID number and an alternate PIN. Contact the Registrar's Office for assistance. New students must register via phone or in person.

By Phone Consult the on-line course page and/or the outreach bulletin for title and number of course (CRN). Call toll-free 1-866-799-9140 or 1-406-683-7537. Staff will then help complete registration. Be prepared to provide information on course number, title, and credits as well as personal data, academic history, immunizations and residency. Give credit card number and card expiration date when you call to satisfy tuition payment, if necessary.

In-Person The Registrar's Office, located in the Administration Building is open for registration from 8 am to 5 pm. During the first meeting of evening classes on campus registration may be completed between 6:30 to 8:oo pm at the Registrar's Office
