I Wonder

Katy Wicks

Gazing across a crowded room
I wonder
What your hand would feel like
Foreign skin to warm inner thigh
Quiver anticipate moments
Negative space in physical space that gets closer
Between breath quick
Heavy spoken silence
Hangs air that turns red
Lips magnetic as glances
Before…
I wonder
What the nectar of your neck tastes like
Erotic charge electric
Pelvis tango moves like liquor
In veins that throb
Want fire
I wonder
How my fingers would move on your
Undiscovered excitement
Pull  Push  Frenzy
Skin collides explosion
Moan of legs and arms
Hips grind
Tongue glides down a path to darkness
I wonder
If lips on your clavicle will make you collapse
Throw me down and feel
Hand on breast squeeze heart
Lost in curves in between space
Wash palms in pools
Fingers slide into jeans
I wonder
If you’ll notice I stopped breathe  ing
Swollen lips press thirsty
Furnace intensifies
Unbearable
Teeth bite earlobes
Violin bow calves friction
Muscle press bone
Ache in sweat
Nails into bed sheets
Naked air on naked bodies
We beg in cries
I wonder
How ankles would look on your back
Head thrown back
Lulled   Lilting
You feel breath on shoulder and Ahh
Dizzy
Rock thrash of ocean tide   Ebb
Fierce fingers twist hair
Back arched
Ecstasy eyes close
Drunk on our scent wine
Whisper what you want
I wonder
How puzzle pieces fit
Come through the mist
Hold my hips
Gravity weight
Muscles contract relax contract
Iridescent wild
Whirl flood
White knuckled grip
More more
I wonder
What you sound like
Pleasure convulsions
Eyes static
Deep lung expansion
Magic fever
Burning flesh
Swirl curves sweat
You hum
The mouth that
I wonder
If I’ll recover
Knots of bedcovers legs arms
Chrysalis of content
Heaving chests
Absorb want more
Toxic elixir
Backs  wrists  knees
Yearn drenched hair
Intimate synchronize
I wonder
How our torsos would sing together
Instead I’ll go home
Alone tonight
Dream of fantasy encounters.
